Cory Peters is the Chief SharePoint Architect at Eastridge Technology, a Microsoft Gold Partner in Winston-Salem, NC. Cory graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Computer Science and has been working with SharePoint technologies since Portal Server 2003. Cory is also a SharePoint Microsoft Certified IT Professional and an enthusiastic member of the SharePoint community. You can find him online working on open source projects, blogging, tweeting or at local SharePoint events.

 This is my first Prezi presentation and I had a lot of fun with it. I walk through why business should be considering mobile applications and mobile support, the out of the box mobile features of SharePoint 2010 as well as some of the barriers, key decisions and common deployment scenarios.
This presentation walks you through the process of performing an upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010. It covers what you can do today to get ready, the prerequisites for the upgrade, the support upgrade approaches and concludes with an upgrade demonstration.
What to expect when trying to make SharePoint look good with emphasis on some of the points that should be considered before diving in. Two most common tasks when it comes to creating a publishing site: building a page layout and using the content query web part for content roll up are demonstrated.
This is a developer oriented presentation that focuses on the new Ribbon and Dialog functionality, how it works and how to build solutions on top of these great features. The actual presentation involved some source code that will be included in an upcoming blog post.
